Born in early 2021 in Dubai, Orisun Invest specializes in the origination of renewable energy projects, with a particular focus on wind and solar assets. The company's success in identifying, structuring, and securing deals especially in emerging markets has been largely due to its unique M&A process, and its ability to establish a strong network of investors, developers, and originators.
OUR MISSION
Orisun Invest was created to accelerate the global transition from fossil fuel to renewable energy by identifying and assessing wind and solar projects around the world and contributing to their implementation or their sale – allowing the initial capital to be recycled to do more projects. We are committed to providing sustainable, long-term investment opportunities with a focus on emerging markets and on transactions which maximize the positive impacts on communities and the environment.
OUR VISION
To hold the line below 2°C, thousands of projects and transactions need to be closed every year. They are spread across countries, with different cultures, regulatory frameworks, economies and key stakeholders. Such a market fragmentation and diversity create challenges for both investors and developers. We believe in the power of people and collaboration and aim at creating an innovative, transparent and professional environment where developers and investors from around the world feel at ease to negotiate and fast track transactions.
